Assistant Manager - Blown Film Extrusion

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage daily operations of 3-layer blown film extrusion lines, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.

Ensure compliance with production schedules, maintaining product quality, and meeting customer specifications.

Monitor and optimize the machine parameters to maximize output, reduce waste, and ensure consistent product quality.

Lead a team of machine operators, providing guidance and training on process improvement and troubleshooting.

Troubleshoot mechanical and process-related issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring quick resolution of operational problems.

Prepare and maintain production reports, documenting output, machine performance, and any process improvements.

Work closely with the R&D and product development teams to support new product trials and scaling up of processes.

Key Skills and Competencies:

Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of 3-layer blown film extrusion, machine operation, and process optimization.

Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex process issues promptly and effectively.

Quality Focus: Strong understanding of quality control processes, standards, and systems related to blown film production.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Plastics Technology, Polymer Science, or a related field.

4-8 years of relevant experience in 3-layer blown film extrusion, with a track record of operational excellence.

Familiarity with industry-standard machinery, tools, and troubleshooting techniques.

Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a similar manufacturing environment
