Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager - Accounts to join our team at Kalliyath Group. As the Assistant Manager - Accounts, you will be responsible for managing the financial records, transactions, and reporting for our organization. This is a mid-level position, requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in accounting. The role is based in Ernakulam, Kerala, India and is a full-time position.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Solid understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts department.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships.
- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and reports.
- Coordinate with auditors and assist in the preparation of audit schedules.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting processes and systems.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
