About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to oversee our accounting department. As Assistant Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the routine accounting, monthly closing of books, all statutory compliance and providing data to various stakeholders. You will also ensure proper maintenance of accounts and record keeping, getting year end US audit done in a timely manner. This role is based out of New Delhi and play an instrumental role in the financial future of the company.
What You Will Do
- Managing US Compliances: Sales Tax, 1099 filings, Corporate Tax returns, Franchise Tax Returns etc.
- Facilitating closure of US entity including the Month end and year end checklists.
- Drafting of financial statements including consolidations & creating notes to accounts and schedules.
- Managing relationships with external auditors.
- Coordinate with US tax consultants & other service providers and providing data & discussion & getting valuation reports/other reports.
- Responsible for maintaining Internal Controls.
- Providing data to various stakeholders like Management reporting etc.
- Remaining up to date on the new accounting pronouncements and assist senior in drafting memos to present to Management and Implementing changes.
- Assisting the Associate Director, Finance in US and UK related projects.
General Shift. However, Support US Time Zones Required
We'd love for you to have:
Education
- Should be qualified as a Chartered Accountant /CPA.
Experience (Mandatory)
- 3-4 years service industry experience, MNC IT company experience is preferred
- Excellent in MS Excel/Advanced excel (MUST), MS Word, MS PPT.
- Knowledge of Oracle Netsuite or similar ERP system is preferred.
- Hands on experience of month closing activities
- Should have strong knowledge of US compliance like Sales Tax compliance, 1099 filing.
- Knowledge of IFRS
