About Us. Plotline solves the following challenges for B2C Growth, Marketing teams -. Most acquired users drop off within 7 days because they did not experience their aha moment. Most users use only 1-2 features of the app
Example 95% of PhonePe users open the app to pay QR codes. But PhonePe makes money via Insurance, Mutual Funds and other financial products. Plotline helps B2C apps like PhonePe improve their activation and adoption metrics through targeted in-app campaigns

Outcomes Expected. Own the entire financial operations and focus on cost optimisation for the organisation. Hire at least 1 Junior Accountant by end of 1 year. Implement best practices to make the Finance Department more efficient. Work with the management to drive further optimisation of metrics, consistently working on improvements in quality, conversion, and process adherence.
Responsibilities. Financial Planning and Analysis:. Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
Analyse financial data, trends, and performance indicators to provide actionable insights to the leadership team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with overall business objectives
Financial Operations:. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense management
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintain a robust system of internal controls
Reconcile financial discrepancies and work towards process optimisation and efficiency
Carrying out advance tax computation
Ensuring all GST inputs are utilised/GST filings are done on time. Reporting and Compliance:. Prepare and present regular financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements
Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process
Cash Flow Management:. Monitor cash flow and liquidity, forecasting short-term and long-term cash needs
Implement effective cash management strategies to optimise working capital
Financial Strategy:. Collaborate with the leadership team to develop financial strategies that support business growth and expansion
Provide recommendations for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and risk mitigation
Team Leadership:. Build and lead a high-performing finance team as the organisation scales
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering professional growth and development
Requirements. CA IPCC / CA Final Rank is preferred
CA with minimum 3 years of post qualification experience
Prior experience in a big 4 or a startup is preferred
Prior experience in Business finance will be preferred
Excellent written and oral articulation
Highly competent in working with cross functional teams
Has great analytical skills and an eye for attention to detail
Has a positive attitude and is keen to learn
