The role will lead a team of 1-2 Finance Executives on Finance & Accounting (F&A) activities such as reporting, payables and receivables, audit, statutory payments, compliances, direct and indirect taxation, payroll, insurance etc.
Day-to-day activities will involve:
- Performing all accounting activities as per defined SOPs
- Receiving, verifying and processing invoices and reimbursements
- Issuing debit/credit notes to vendors and responding to their queries
- Managing payment to vendors on a weekly basis and reconciling bank statements
- Overseeing all account receivable transactions
- Ensuring timely accounting of revenue invoices, unbilled revenue/revenue accrual, customer refund scheduling, and customer collections
- Monitoring aged receivables and customer advances and communicating discrepancies to the management in time
- Overseeing statutory payments (TDS, GST, etc.)
This role will lead specific functions within the F&A role, which will be identified based on the candidate s prior experience and interests.
Expectations
- B.Com. graduate
- 2-5 years experience in an F&A function. Candidates with experience at start-ups will be highly preferred.
- Experience in an organisation that has entities in multiple geographies is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in managing teams, generating high-quality reports for senior management, and good written and verbal communication skills.
