We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager for Facilities to oversee and manage the technical aspects of our new office project and ongoing facility maintenance. This role requires a strong background in HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other infrastructure components. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of our facilities, implement preventive maintenance programs, and address any technical issues promptly.

Responsibilities
Technical Project Management:
Oversee and manage the technical aspects of new office projects, including the design and implementation of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
Facility Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any potential technical issues.
Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other infrastructure systems.
Manage and maintain facility equipment, ensuring all systems are operating efficiently and safely.
Property Management Services:
Coordinate property management services, including lease administration, tenant relations, and property inspections.
Assist in the management of property budgets, including the tracking of expenses and ensuring cost-effective operations.
Asset Management:
Maintain an accurate inventory of all facility assets, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
Develop and implement asset management strategies to extend the life of equipment and infrastructure.
Project Management:
Lead and manage facility-related projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management:
Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and standards.
Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections, addressing any issues promptly.
Implement safety protocols and training programs to promote a safe working environment.
Quality Management:
Establish and maintain quality control standards for facility operations and maintenance.
Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
Security Management:
Oversee security operations, including access control, surveillance systems, and emergency response protocols.
Coordinate with security vendors and personnel to ensure the safety and security of employees and facilities.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing facility-related concerns and ensuring a positive working environment.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the facilities team.
Candidate Requirements
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other infrastructure systems.
Proven experience in project management, including new office setups and renovations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Certification in facilities management (CFM, FMP) or a related field is a plus.
