Conduct applications of flavors received from the Flavour creation department.
Apply new flavors in various confectionery applications like Hard boiled candies, Toffees, Soft chews, compound chocolate, centre filled candies etc.
Conduct shelf-life studies in case if required;
Calculate related technical data and rank flavours; Check overall acceptability of flavours; Proactive application and evaluation of new flavour creation
Standardize recipes as per FSSAI Rules and limits; Identify gaps for complying with prescribed norms; Conduct trials by changing variables; Check applications of the same after required changes
Collect data related to profile, Legal status, specific gravity etc; Co-ordinate with IT and provide inputs for software on flavour library
Collect new products from market from confectionery category; Conduct sensory evaluation of the same
Generating new concepts in foods; Search innovative ideas for existing food promotion; present acceptable ideas to evaluation panel; Conduct trials of various combinations of foods.
Proactively come up with concepts meeting consumer acceptance.
Ability to handle technical queries put forward by customers.
Strong Food Chemistry and Technology background.
Knowledge on food laws for Confectionery category.
Ingredient knowledge and its interaction in the product.
Should be good in food and flavour evaluation and suggest improvements.
Sound knowledge and hands on experience of Application for Confectionery category
