Your Impact
As an Intelligent automation Analyst you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robotic process automation and workflow solutions to improve business operations. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand pain points, develop requirements, develop, test, and put solutions to production. You will also play a vital role in upholding the three Operations principles of client focus, process innovation and risk management. This role will directly report to the Intelligent automation team lead for US Deposits.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes for Automation Opportunities and design process solutions using continuous improvement principles. Leverage the Eliminate, Simplify and Automate thought process.
- Design, develop, and implement RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions using tools/ programming languages such as Automation Anywhere, Power Automate and Python.
- Develop and manage process and controls environments (inventory and maps) for deposits operations.
- Adhere to software development best practices, including governance, development, testing, go-live readiness, training, and post-production support.
- Identify gaps and risks in automation solutions and take appropriate action/escalation
- Obtain necessary change advisory board approvals, assess the impact of change across the business and ensure production readiness
- Maintain up to date inventory of business policies and procedures and develop and maintain current and target operating models to drive process efficiencies and risk controls.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Exhibit a positive attitude, strong drive, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field. In lieu of the undergraduate degree in required field, significant coding and full-scale RPA implementation is required
- 2-3 years of demonstrable experience in RPA full life cycle implementations.
- Proven analytical skills and problem-solving ability, demonstrated through past quantitative or model-building roles.
- Hands-on experience with RPA tools like Automation Anywhere, Power Automate or other Industry automation tools.
- Experience with REST APIs.
- Familiarity with process engineering tools (e.g., Signavio, Visio).
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong drive, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in SQL or similar database query languages
- Knowledge of BI tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Experience with Python/R for automation is a plus.
- Experience with VBScript and Excel macros, and advanced Excel using VBA is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with banking and financial services, specifically savings, CDs, and retirement products.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance aspects with government guidance and requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in assessing and designing business processes.
- Six Sigma and Lean certification.
- Advanced business analysis experience.
- Prior process engineering experience.
- Experience with agile project delivery methods, concepts, and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Experience with InfoPath and SharePoint Designer.
- Experience developing workflows.
- Experience working with Process Mining, and Machine Learning.
