Job Description
We are seeking a skilled AS400 Developer with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AS400 technologies and a proven ability to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement AS400 applications using RPG, CL, and SQL.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing AS400 systems to improve performance and functionality.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers.
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in AS400 development.
- Proficient in RPG, RPGLE, CLLE, and SQL programming languages.
- Strong understanding of AS400 system architecture and database concepts.
- Experience with AS400 system administration and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with modernizing AS400 applications.
- Knowledge of web services and API integration.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
