Overview
The Ariba Consultant plays a critical role in implementing and integrating Ariba solutions within the organization. They are responsible for driving the successful deployment and adoption of Ariba modules, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and enabling suppliers to effectively participate in the Ariba Network. This role is pivotal in optimizing procurement processes and maximizing the value derived from Ariba solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Ariba solution design and implementation projects
- Configure Ariba modules to meet specific business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Ariba with SAP and other systems
- Provide technical expertise and support for Ariba applications
- Develop and execute supplier enablement strategies
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Ariba solutions
- Customize Ariba reports and dashboards for performance monitoring
- Train end-users and stakeholders on Ariba functionality and best practices
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving Ariba system issues
- Conduct regular assessments and optimizations of Ariba solution performance
- Stay updated on Ariba platform developments and industry best practices
- Support the procurement team in leveraging Ariba for strategic sourcing initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for Ariba solution usage
- Lead change management efforts related to Ariba system changes
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Ariba consultants
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Ariba solution implementation and configuration
- Proven expertise in integrating Ariba with the SAP environment
- Advanced knowledge of Ariba Network and supplier enablement best practices
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Certification in Ariba Solution Consultant and/or Ariba Procurement Professional
- Experience in customizing Ariba reports and dashboards
- Excellent understanding of procurement processes and best practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated project management and leadership capabilities
- Proficiency in change management principles and practices
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
