Position: Area Sales Manager
Location: Bangalore/Delhi/Haryana/Hyderabad/Gujarat/Bhopal/Indore/Mumbai/Kerala regions. (ONSITE)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic area sales manager, preferably from a cosmetic background, to join our team. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and achieving revenue targets within a designated geographical area. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, a proven track record in sales management, and enthusiasm for startups. The ideal candidate is willing to grow and learn in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development and Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets within the assigned area.
Analyze market trends, identify opportunities for growth, and develop action plans to capitalize on them.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals.
Provide training, coaching, and support to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and partners.
Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are met.
Market analysis and competitive intelligence:
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competitor activities.
Adjust sales strategies based on market insights to maintain a competitive edge.
Budget Management:
Prepare and manage the sales budget for the assigned area, ensuring effective use of resources.
Track expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Candidate Profile:
Education: a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Experience: Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
