Job Description

Job Summary:

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) at Sri Sri Tattva will be responsible for driving sales growth and

market expansion within the assigned territory. The role demands a proactive individual with a deep

understanding of field sales dynamics, adept at building strong retailer and distributor relationships.

The ASM will play a crucial role in executing sales strategies, ensuring target achievement, and

enhancing brand presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Execution

o Develop and implement territory sales plans to achieve monthly and quarterly

targets.

o Conduct market visits to monitor competitor activities, identify growth

opportunities, and optimize market coverage.

o Ensure product availability and visibility across the retail network within the

territory.

2. Distributor & Retailer Management

o Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts to

ensure consistent sales growth.

o Ensure timely order fulfillment, inventory management, and effective distribution

across the territory.

3. Team Supervision & Performance Monitoring

o Guide and motivate sales representatives to achieve individual and team targets.

o Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to ensure high

productivity.

4. Market Expansion & Brand Promotion

o Identify and develop new markets, channels, and opportunities for product

placement and promotion.

o Execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and marketing activities in

collaboration with the marketing team.

5. Reporting & Analysis

o Track sales metrics, monitor daily and monthly sales performance, and report on

market trends and competitor activities.

o Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, contributing to the overall business

strategy.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

4+ years of experience in FMCG sales, with a proven track record in field sales and territory

management.

Strong knowledge of local market dynamics and distribution networks.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build strong customer

relationships.

Self-motivated, result-oriented, and willing to travel extensively within the territory.
