Area Sales Manager:
Maintaining and increasing sales of our company's products

Possibly dealing with some major customer accounts yourself

Reporting to senior managers
Keeping up to date with products and competitors
Manage day-to-day performance of all sales team members and deliver reviews.
Stock management - To ensure store carries only below 90 days stock. Ageing and eol controls is a key functionality of ASM. The role of Handsets Value sales and Avg ASP's growth
Responsible on boarding of accessories vendors and its revenue
Responsible for operator business revenue generation in terms of Recharge, New SIM sales and data cards, third party payments.
Admin and Merchanding issues at the store: The Area Sales manager should escalate and resolve all Admin related issue with the store viz up keeping the store lighting, AC/s, Printers/Systems working properly. Ensure all the brandings inside and outside merchandising to be there as standard guidelines. Conduct kiosk or road show activity to generate leads. Stocks Visual display and its cleanses as per guidelines
Process adherence Check's - To ensure Store processes like store timings, cash and credit card transactions adherences, Stock inward and outward processes. Stock and cash variance -To ensure no stocks and cash variance in any of his stores. To ensure complete sales and service returns as per processes. To ensure Daily stock check with copies filed in stores of the same with true facts.
Store etiquettes, Greetings and Look and feel of store - To ensure Staffs and promoters are groomed well (Neatly shaven). To ensure greetings, Probing and product knowledge is displayed by all store staffs.
Store discipline - Attendance, PJP and store checks - To ensure highest discipline by store staff and promoters on process adherence, their attendance, Store staff pjp setting and ensuring store functionality checks like demo phones working, Demo phone stocks adherence, security system working and store assets checks and its functionality.
Handsets Value sales and Avg ASP's growth - To ensure month on month Value targets are met on Handsets and to grow month on month on Asp's. Operator services and tablets contribution - To ensure month on month targets are met on all these 2 verticals.
