Job Description

  • Aster Medcity is looking for Area Sales Manager Sales to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
  • The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is a key role responsible for overseeing sales operations and achieving sales targets within a designated geographical area
  • The ASM is expected to lead a team of sales representatives, motivate them, and collaborate with other departments to drive business growth and revenue
  • Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy and Planning:Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for the area
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Team Leadership and Management:Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team within the area
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to sales representatives to enhance their skills and performance
  • Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team and monitor their progress regularly
  • Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners in the area
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Sales Operations:Monitor sales activities, track sales metrics, and prepare reports for management
  • Ensure efficient stock management and distribution in collaboration with logistics and warehouse teams
  • Implement sales and marketing campaigns to promote products and increase brand awareness
  • Territory Management:Define sales territories within the area and allocate resources effectively to maximize sales potential
  • Conduct regular market visits to understand local market dynamics and identify potential sales opportunities
  • Sales Performance Analysis:Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas of improvement and create action plans to address challenges
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews of the sales team and implement corrective measures as needed
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:Prepare sales budgets for the area and ensure adherence to approved budgets
  • Provide sales forecasts and contribute to overall company financial planning
  • Collaboration and Reporting:Collaborate with marketing, product management, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business goals
  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management
