We are currently looking for a Area Sales Manager - North & East , Light Vehicle to join us at our facility in Gurugram.
Key responsibilities:
1. Sales Execution:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals for the assigned area.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
- Oversee daily sales operations and ensure efficient execution of sales plans.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential markets within the region.
- Collaborate with product teams to develop strategies for market penetration and product positioning.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Address and resolve customer issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular meetings and reviews with major accounts to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Team Management:
- Train and mentor a team of Technical and sales representatives.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure team effectiveness.
- Motivate and support the Technical/ sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Science/Technology/ Engineering or Master s degree in Business Administration, Marketing.
- 7-8 yrs of experience in Automotive OEM industry
- Technical knowledge of coatings is preferred.
- Proven experience as a sales Manager or similar sales role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques and strategies, as well as market dynamics within the region.
- Proficiency in Sales force software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Power BI etc.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
