Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Job location : Mumbai

Role description

Responsible for achieving assigned sales goals both primary & secondary.
Develop account plans and coordinate activities with appropriate internal stakeholders.
Analyze accounts and territory and identifies opportunities to accelerate revenue growth.
Engage with customers/ distributors to build and maintain long term relationships through digital/F2F connect.
Manage the end-to-end sales process for assigned products & accounts
Resolve customer issues by regular interaction with internal stake holders.
Coordinate sales activities with Specialist teams and distribution partners (Digital /F2F)
Maintain an in depth understanding of the competitive landscape within assigned accounts and territory.
Maintain & learn new technical product and scientific knowledge.
Maintain a cadence of account management activities including internal and customer facing business reviews.
Input customer information and opportunities into the CRM system & take insights.
Maps regional and country relevant account sites, buyers and contacts.
Develop and maintain a short and long-term opportunity growth opportunity pipeline.
Leveraging digital tools to prospect, opportunity creation & improve sales conversion.
Reports to management, including market & competition.

Job Requirements

Masters in Life science, Chemistry or any similar allied science is essential. A degree or diploma in management.
Attitude of learning, building relationship and have negations skills
Digital savvy & knowledge of MS-Office
Knowledge of Sales/Marketing processes, procedures, and technology
Time management, Analysis, evaluation, required to meet the Department objectives.
Ability to read and interpret accounting and financial reports
Empathy and sense of urgency. Good communication skills, Honest and Integrity.
Subject Knowledge in one or more of the following areas Life Science, Chemistry, Analytical or bulk chemical business is desirable.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
