Description
We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager with 10-15 years of experience in the job market context of India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of sales representatives and achieving sales targets in their assigned region. They should have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the assigned region
- Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet or exceed sales goals
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to ensure the company remains competitive
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management
- Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving complaints and following up on orders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities
- Manage budgets, expenses, and other financial matters related to the sales function
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- 10-15 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the same industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
- Experience with budgeting and financial management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
