Reports To: VC Sales Director
Objective: The Area Sales Manager is responsible for growing profitable sales and market share of Piab Vacuum conveying products within their regional area of responsibility.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement territory business plan in support of company goals and objectives.
- Develop and manage sales channels for vacuum conveying products in support of territory goals and objectives.
- Conduct frequent customer visits either direct or jointly with channel partners.
- Document and manage sales activity including customer visits, opportunities and account information through active use of Salesforce CRM and Piab's Sales Excellence process.
- Conduct regular reviews with channel partners in support of territory growth.
- Provide on-site customer service technical support for vacuum conveying product lines.
- Conduct product trial at customer site.
- Work in conjunction with other Piab departments to cultivate and manage sales activity within a region.
- Assist in tradeshow preparation.
Job Requirements:
- BA Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical applications, technical sales, and support.
- Excellent English skills: verbal and written
- Proficiency with all Microsoft applications.
- General understanding of pneumatics and powder handling systems and equipment.
- Understanding of Food, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Addictive manufacturing industry.
- Understanding and effective use of CRM. Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
- Strong communication/presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently out of a home-based office.
- To be based in either Bangalore (India Southern Region) or New Delhi or Jaipur (India Northern Region).
- Travel up to 50 70% of the time.
