Area Sales Manager- Chennai

Overview:

Our company believes that any retail store can thrive as long as it satisfies its customers in every possible way. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out that goal through positive and effective communication with customers as well as efficient operation of the store. You will provide the Store Managers with the help required to keep the shop in top running order, from ordering inventory and processing sales to generating cash reports and responding to customer concerns and complaints.

Locations- Focusing on our 5 exclusive stores in Chennai & Tamilnadu

About the Company- Ernakulam based Steel doors company

Age- 30-40

Educational Qualification- MBA Preferred but not mandatory

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coach and support other team members
• Hire and train new employees for the sales floor or other departments (e.g. shipping and receiving)
• Maintain and monitor store inventory
• Ensure that the store is clean, safe and presentable for customers
• Greet and assist customers as necessary when other sales associates are busy
• Conduct regular audits of the stores physical and practical condition to ensure quality
• Maintain product levels appropriately
• Interact with the public via social media and maintain the stores online presence
• Process sales when necessary
• Generate and review daily sales report

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years experience in a retail setting
• 1+ years experience in a supervisory role preferred
• MBA s preferred
• Willingness to travel and lead a team
• Ability to working with a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Basic reading, writing and accounting skills required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills needed

Pay: 35,000.00 - 40,000.00 per month
