Job Description

Job Summary:
As the Area Manager for a renowned clothing brand in Delhi NCR, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of multiple retail outlets within the designated area. This role requires a strong understanding of the fashion retail industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive sales, ensure customer satisfaction, and uphold the brand's image.

Responsibilities:
  • Retail Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple retail outlets, including sales, inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service, to ensure seamless and efficient functioning.
Sales and Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement strategies to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets across all stores.
Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, train, and manage store managers, sales associates, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and customer focus.Visual Merchandising and Brand Presentation: Ensure that all stores maintain the brand's visual identity and presentation standards, including window displays, product placement, and store layout, to create an engaging and cohesive shopping experience.
  • Customer Experience Enhancement: Implement initiatives to enhance the customer experience, such as personalized service, loyalty programs, and special events, to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Inventory Management: Coordinate with the central inventory team to optimize stock levels, manage inventory turnover, and minimize stockouts and excess inventory across all stores.
Market Analysis and Trend Identification: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in the fashion retail industry, and leverage insights to inform product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.Compliance and Standards Adherence: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, as well as local regulations, pertaining to retail operations, employee management, health and safety, and other relevant areas.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for each store, including expenses, staffing costs, and marketing expenditures, to achieve profitability targets while optimizing resources.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with mall management, landlords, suppliers, and other external stakeholders to negotiate favorable terms, resolve issues, and foster collaboration.
Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular reports on store performance, market trends, and operational issues for senior management, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Fashion Merchandising, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the fashion or apparel industry, with a track record of driving sales and managing multiple stores.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
Sound knowledge of retail operations, including sales techniques, inventory management, and merchandising principles.
  • Familiarity with the fashion retail market in Delhi NCR, including customer demographics, competitor landscape, and market dynamics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
  • Flexibility to travel within the Delhi NCR area and work weekends or evenings as needed.
