- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mechanical).
- 12 years of sales & service experience in Mechanical Seals or Rotary Equipment.
Job Responsibilities:The Area Manager Sales & Serviceshall be responsible for serving customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations/applications of mechanical seals. The selected candidate will be responsible for the business from customers located across the Pune region and the rest of Maharashtra except Mumbai and Raigad.
Job Duties:
- Identify current and future customer requirements for mechanical seals by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers in the Pune region and the Western part of Maharashtra.
- Please provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by quickly responding to questions and requests from OEMs such as KSB, Wilo, KBL, KEPL, etc.
- Establish new accounts and service existing accounts by identifying potential customers and organizing sales call schedules.
- Determine improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environments and proposing changes accordingly.
- Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvements.
- Please submit offers by talking with technical support staff.
- Develop customer confidence by providing technical information and training.
- Prepare sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information, engineering trends, and application data.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of mechanical seals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in sales and customer service in the mechanical seals & rotary equipment industry.
- Ability to travel extensively within Delhi and the northern region of India.
