Role Description
To meet the long & short term sales objectives for the division by understanding the existing and future needs of the Automotive customers assigned.
- Meeting revenue Targets - a) Facilitate contract finalization with customer with respect to volume in line with ABP/OSP b) To ensure order generation and fulfilment in line with customers schedules
- Achieve Working Capital targets a) Manage inventory by ensuring inventory is as per sales requirements b) Ensure movement of non-moving inventory within timelines c) Ensure outstanding and ODs are within company guidelines through payment realization and implementation of suitable financing scheme.
- New Product Sales -a) Identify opportunities for New product development b) Obtain trial orders for product approval c) Ensure share of business and uproot product lines to meet new product sales targets as per ABP d) Provide inputs for investment for new product development for the future e) Obtain bills of material for future customer programs as in input for new product development
- Improve customer satisfaction and customer loyalty -a) Ensure operational excellence in the parameters of Quality, Cost, Delivery and Development, accounts and other statutory matters b) Ensure counter measures based on CSI Survey / Product Complaints/ Service Complaints c) Provide timely feedback to relevant agencies in the organization
- Provide inputs to marketing team on competitors moves- Track competition with respect to 1) New product development, (2) Price position, (3) Share of business, (4) Investment plans
- Provide inputs for Formulation of ABP and 5 year Plan with regards to volume price forecast, share of business, new product development and anticipated SOB for their respective accounts
- Safety- Compliance to Safety norms
Skills
Must have experience in Commercial cluster (M&S, Planning, CSD, Procurement, etc) /PAG.
Product and market segment knowledge, commercial acumen, knowledge of sales processes, Analytical Skill
Communication skills, Interpersonal effectiveness, drive for result, networking skills, customer orientation.
Other Details
Degree in Engineering or equivalent/MBA/CA/ICWA/Graduation
MBA (Marketing & Sales) is preferable
