As an Area Manager in the food industry, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple facilities within your designated area. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient production, quality control, and distribution of food products while adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Management:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of multiple food production facilities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain product consistency and meet customer specifications.
2.Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and mentor facility staff, including production workers, supervisors, and support staff.
- Set performance goals and provide ongoing feedback to drive productivity and employee development.
- Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
3.Production Planning and Optimization:
- Develop and execute production schedules to meet demand forecasts and customer orders.
- Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement efficiency enhancements.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished products.
4.Customer Relations:
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Work to maintain strong customer relationships and uphold the company's reputation for excellence in product quality and service.
5.Financial Management:
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, controlling costs and maximizing profitability.

- Implement strategies to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste throughout the production process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
