Job Description
To perform Electrical maintenance activities of ISBL 1, 2, 3, Utilities 1, 2, offsite, HMU 1 and 2 areas for maintaining effective reliability of electrical equipment. Ensure effective maintenance, condition monitoring and availability of critical spares. Ensure preparation of Shutdown related activities. Coordination and execution of MOC/DPI for HMU -1 & 2 related Electricals. To Ensure LOTO, Permit System, PPEs, and all Safety norms being followed religiously. Take part in PSSR, Hazop studies etc. pertaining to area.

Planning & Organizing Effective Electrical Maintenance
Authority: To execute the jobs safely and timely through the available man and material resources.
Execution of Planned Maintenance activities and timely attendance to Breakdowns
Preparation of FA/RCA reports & implementation of all recommendations.
Effective use of SAP system for various Maintenance & Spares procurement activities.
Compliance of PM orders in SAP
Establish Complaint management system for internal customers and ensure timely corrective actions for the complaints received.
Maintenance Systems & Practices
Follow SOP/SMPs (Standard Operating /Maintenance Procedures)
List of Spares required for Maintenance and take Procurement action for the same.
Execution of MOC / DPI (Capex Projects) in your respective area within the mutually agreed target dates.
Statutory compliance in the respective area.
Maintain availability of critical spares for electrical equipment and ensure equipment availability.
Maintain availability of critical equipment 99%.
Commissioning assistance and Shut down monitoring for timely completion

Knowledge of Process Safety Management elements and procedures (Mechanical Integrity & Asset Reliability)
Plan and conduct Asset Criticality Assessment of equipment.
Implementation of Inspection recommendation.

- SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Educational Qualifications & Certifications:
- BE/Diploma/or equivalent (Electrical)
- Relevant (Functional/Level) & Total Years of Experience:
- Should have Min 8 to 10 years of experience in the relevant field of Electrical maintenance in large Oil Refinery/Petrochemical/Fertilizer unit/Chemical Plant.
- Should have experience of working in MV substations and MV VFDs.
- Functional Skills
- In depth knowledge of maintenance of Electrical equipment- HT and LT Motors, HT and LT switchgear up to Transformers, MV Switchgear, MV VFDs, Protective relays, Battery & Battery chargers, UPS systems, Cathodic Protection system, Emergency DG sets, EOT cranes, Heater Control Panels used in Oil Refinery.
- Knowledge of SCADA (Electrical Control System ECS) & load
- Knowledge of electrical circuits and its trouble shooting.
- Well conversant with computer operations and SAP.
- Should have knowledge of product, quality parameters, environment, Safety and Energy Management.
