Department/ Function - Retail Banking Operations
Job Purpose:
The role holder has the responsibility to manage operations for the entire gambit of Retail Asset products offered by the bank. The role holder is expected to assist in making policy and strategic decisions, as well as the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. It includes assisting our Human Resources team with recruiting, when necessary, and help promote banks culture that encourages morale and performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily operations - disbursement and other related activities for retail asset products.
- Ensure processing of daily transactions timely and accurately
- Maintaining expertise and effectiveness across operating platforms
- Identify gaps and initiate corrective action.
- Implement strategy and plan for meeting targets/ objectives.
- Ensure client data is protected from the public and secured against fraud by enforcing access rights and verification levels.
- Ensure that agreed control processes and procedure are implemented to identify and mitigate risks.
- Gather requirements in terms of staff recruitment and training.
- Supporting the leadership to build an environment of collective responsibility and accountability.
- Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors.
- Ensure that the bank runs with legality and conformity to established regulations.
- Organize staff meetings to keep them informed of updates to policies, procedures etc.
- Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
- Liaise with respective stakeholders to take system, product enhancements to closure.
- Keep abreast with global market trends and competitor strategies in key markets.
- Leverage in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Graduation: Any
Post-graduation: Any
Experience: 4+ Years of experience in Retail Asset Operations.
