We seek an experienced and driven Area Business Manager to oversee our business operations in Maharashtra / Uttar Pradesh. The ABM will be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives, developing and executing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strong sales background, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. He will also work closely with the marketing team & monitor all activities of the District Sales officers of his state. The ABM in charge of both Business Calling and Digital aspects, focusing on Numbers, Actionable Items, Implementation, and Coordination

The desired ABM will be a go-getter who strives to achieve his targets for the assigned area. He/She should be a team player and will be looked upon as a resource by his team members for addressing any issues. The ABM has the potential to grow in this organization over a period of 3-4 years and will report to the State Head.

As a ABM , you will be responsible for

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
  • Manage and coach a team of sales representatives to drive performance and productivity.
  • Measure daily, weekly, monthly performance trends of each team member and take corrective actions to match the organization's expectations
  • Conduct daily team hurdles to brief the team on the team and individual targets
  • Motivate team members to meet and exceed targets
  • Initiate Performance Improvement Plans for regular non-performers and provide training interventions, feedbacks
  • Audit calls, emails to ensure productivity and 100% compliance to processes for each team member
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Develop a strong understanding of products, market conditions, and competitors.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Regularly report on business performance and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Monitor CRM sales reports and present weekly/biweekly sales reports to management with recommendations
  • Ensure correctness of data at all times, report daily performance to the State Head
  • Ensure meeting daily/Monthly KPIs - Revenue, conversion %, Average Revenue per User, etc
  • Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends. Study and analyze Retailer requirements, trends, and plan product launches and portfolio expansion.
  • Provide feedback to the organization on product improvements changes to suit market requirements

Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in BSC Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ Years of experience in Agri - sales, marketing, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a high-performance team.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Prior experience in an E-commerce company would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
