The Role
As an Architect with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
Use computer-aided drafting (CAD) software programs and equipment or a conventional drafting station to create and modify architectural documents, designs, working drawings, forms, charts, and records Analyze current building codes, by-laws, and requirements to establish how they affect architectural drawings, and stay up-to-date on all required and relevant codes
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies as required. And code reviews to inform design decisions and compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Draw detailed and rough scale plans for structures, foundations, and buildings based on preliminary concepts, sketches, specification sheets, engineering calculations, and other provided data
Acquire and assemble the information needed to finish architectural drawings, visiting job sites when necessary to gather measurements.
Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence within the architectural team and across project teams.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
Sound technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.
A working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of Architect Design, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
A working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications.
Competent use of Architect engineering specific software and relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
Engineering experience of 10+ years in the same or similar industry.
Diploma or ITI
