Architectural Designer

Design Development:

• Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architectural Designer with a Diploma in Architecture (D.Arch) and 2 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating innovative architectural designs, preparing detailed drawings, and collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality architectural solutions.

• Key Responsibilities:

Develop architectural concepts and designs based on client requirements and project briefs.

• Create detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models using CAD software.

• Project Coordination:

Collaborate with senior architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design consistency and project alignment.

• Assist in coordinating design activities with other disciplines such as structural, MEP, and landscape design.

• Technical Documentation:

Prepare and review technical drawings, construction documents, and specifications.

• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

• Client Interaction:

Participate in client meetings to present design ideas and gather feedback.

• Modify designs based on client input and project requirements.

• Site Visits:

Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure design implementation, and address any on-site issues or changes.

• Software Proficiency:

Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and other relevant design software to create and modify architectural designs.

• Produce high-quality renderings and visualizations to effectively communicate design concepts.

• Qualifications:

Education: Diploma in Architecture (D. Arch) from an accredited institution.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in architectural design.Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and other design tools.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction processes.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.

Creativity: Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in design work.

• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in residential, commercial, or institutional projects.

• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green building certifications.
