Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Architect located in Chennai. contributing to the design and development of various projects. Playing a role in the design process, assisting with tasks ranging from conceptualization to project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in Conceptualization: Architects support team members in conceptualizing designs that align with client requirements and regulatory standards. They may contribute ideas and assist during the development of initial sketches and design concepts.
- Design Development Support: They aid in the development of detailed designs and plans by conducting research, creating digital models, and assisting with drafting and documentation tasks. Architects help ensure that designs consider factors; such as spatial functionality, safety, and aesthetics.
- Project Coordination: Architects assist in project coordination by liaising with various stakeholders, organizing meetings, and documenting project progress.
- Technical Support: They provide technical support to the architectural team by assisting with the preparation of drawings, specifications, and construction documents. Architects may also assist in reviewing design proposals and conducting site visits.
- Learning and Development: Architects continuously seek opportunities to learn and grow in their role. They participate in training programs, attend industry events, and engage in self-directed learning to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaboration and Communication: Architects collaborate effectively with team members and communicate openly to ensure the smooth flow of information and ideas. They actively participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and design reviews.
- Adherence to Standards: Architects adhere to architectural standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements in their work. They seek guidance from senior architects when navigating complex regulations and standards.
Qualifications

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Experience in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit is a plus
