Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Architect cum Port Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of urban design guidelines and the design of utility structures within port environments. This role requires extensive experience in port planning, development, upgradation, and modernization projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive urban design guidelines for port projects.
- Design utility structures to support port operations and infrastructure.
- Ensure all designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and incorporate feedback into design plans.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for design projects.
- Oversee the implementation of design plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Regularly report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification: Post-graduation in Architecture.
- Preferred: M.Phil. or Ph.D. in the relevant field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in port planning, development, upgradation, and modernization projects.
- Proven track record of successfully completing at least one project costing more than 1,32,24,800.00.
- Strong technical knowledge of urban design and utility structures in port environments.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in relevant technical software and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in port design and architecture.
