Job Description

Job Title: Internship/ Apprenticeship - Persons with Disabilities (PwD)

Apprenticeship Duration: 6 Months (To be extended depending on Hiring manager)

Our engines power aircraft in every major sector, including transport, combat, patrol, trainers, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles.

Software Apprenticeship - Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Digital Solutions Lead in consolidating the business requirement and ideate
  • Collaborate with Visualization Engineers, Application Architects to take guidance on approach and validate ideas
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and team members to derive value outcomes
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines to define technology objectives, assess solution options and devise architectural solutions that both achieve strategic business goals and meet operational requirements
  • Openly communicate with all the stakeholders. Timely communication on status & issues
  • Developing and demonstrating a broad set of technology skills in Java technologies, micro service design patterns, Open Source libraries and frameworks, and technology architecture concepts.
  • Draft and iterate the technical design documentation and component testing documents
  • Look out for opportunities to constantly upskill both front-end and back-end technologies

Procurement Apprenticeship Key Responsibilities

  • Work on Ticket based system to assist the Strategic Buyer.
  • Create/Update Purchase documents & follow-up with Requester's in case of any issues.
  • Create RFX sourcing event in the system and follow up for the bid.
  • Perform Invoice clearance and assist invoice related queries.
  • Expected to work on Vendor Onboarding & NDA creation.

Finance Apprenticeship Key Responsibilities

  • Sort through emails received and place into appropriate subfolders between queries, statements, invoices.
  • Receive postal mail invoices. Scan and place into appropriate folders for uploading into Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
  • Move VIM invoices into scanning solution and scan. Perform checks on images.
  • Move scanned VIM invoices into SAP and perform validations on invoices when necessary.
  • Maintain log of invoices received for statistical information.
  • Assist Proactive Invoice Processing (PIP) team with matching approvals, input, etc. as needed.
  • Resolve and post invoice exceptions in VIM that did not automatically post Including following up with logistics for Goods Receipts (GR's), business for approvals, and Purchasing with discrepancies in pricing or quantities, etc.
  • Perform routine follow ups with any invoices that have been work-flowed and no response.
  • Reconcile statements and work with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
  • Respond to queries within 48 hours of receiving email/phone call.
  • Work on intercompany confirmation including determining discrepancies and resolving with counterparty.
  • Work with the central teams to submit vendor master changes, including banking changes, remittance changes, etc.

Qualification/Experienced Required

  • Pursuing or graduated is relevant field.
  • Excellent communication skills and user empathizing skills
  • Proven ability to work in teams and still contribute as an individual
  • Passion for Continuous Improvement.

Interview Process

  • On Successful completion of interview, Apprenticeship offer would be extended and initiated on Onboarding.
