Job Description
- Understanding the existing processes of deploying Siebel environments and working on automation.
- Setting up Kubernetes clusters, Service Mesh, GitOps pipelines, etc.
- Develop prototypes, and demonstrations using cloud native technologies.
- Maintenance of hosted Kubernetes clusters
- Managing infrastructure stack upgrades, includes nodes, clusters, istio/service mesh, GitOps tools, etc.
- Hands-on Technical Professional with demonstrated experience in Architecting automation, CI/CD, Monitoring/Tracing and application performance management tools.
- Maintenance of pipelines and related scripts.
- SQL and RDBMS knowledge desired
- REST Web Services knowledge is desired.
- Strong understanding of code and script (Perl, Groovy, Powershell, PHP, Python, Shell etc)
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
- Knowledge of CI/CD
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and/or Master's Degree in Computer Science preferred.
- Possess 3-10 years of DevOps/Cloud experience required
- Demonstrate good project management and decision-making skills
- Attention to details & strong analytical and engineering skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate successfully across cross-functional teams.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
