We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Web and Mobile Application Tester to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our web-based and mobile applications developed using Java, Spring Boot, HTML, CSS, Thyme leaf, JavaScript, and Flutter for Android and iOS platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Execution:
Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
Perform manual and automated testing of applications to ensure they meet functional, performance, and security requirements.
Identify, document, and track bugs, issues, and improvements.
Automation Testing:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, JUnit, Mockito, or similar tools.
Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
Perform regression testing and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Collaboration:
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand application requirements and design.
Provide feedback on software quality and usability from the end-user perspective.
Cloud Integration:
Perform testing in cloud environments, including Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
Validate cloud-based deployments and ensure applications function correctly across various cloud platforms.
Performance and Security Testing:
Conduct performance testing to assess the application's responsiveness, stability, and scalability.
Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure data protection and compliance.
Requirements:
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in testing web and mobile applications.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, HTML, CSS, Thymeleaf, JavaScript, and Flutter.
Strong experience in automation testing with tools like Selenium, JUnit, Mockito.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Knowledge of performance testing tools and security testing practices.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
Experience with mobile testing frameworks such as Appium.
