Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support for Avamar Backup Administration, identifying and resolving client issues effectively.
- Interface with clients to ensure clear communication, understand their needs, and provide high-quality technical assistance.
- Utilize your deep product knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement best practices for backup administration.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Avamar Backup Administration and integrate innovative approaches to improve performance and competitiveness.
- Design and implement effective solutions for backup and recovery, ensuring systems are running smoothly.
- Contribute to the overall system optimization and continuous improvement of the backup processes.
Must-Have Skills
- Experience in Avamar Backup Administration, with expertise in backup processes and recovery operations.
- Strong understanding of backup and recovery concepts for enterprise-level applications.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Python to automate tasks and manage backup processes.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of related backup technologies such as NetBackup, Commvault, or TSM.
- Familiarity with cloud-based backup solutions and integration with on-premise systems.
