Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience working on Linux based infrastructure and cloud services.
Configuration and managing databases such as Oracle.
Experience in Open shift and Google Cloud.
Good monitoring and debugging skills for server logs.
Implementing various development, testing, automation tools and IT infrastructure.
Setting up tools and required infrastructure.
Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage.
Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible.
Track issues effectively using ITIL approved methodology (incidents, changes, requests and problems).
Coordination and communication within the team and business.
Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the business.
Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of security best practices in software development and deployment.

As an Application Support Specialist, having Openshift and Google Cloud is a huge plus. Very good knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines such as Jenkins and GitHub will also be an integral part of this role.
You are a technology aficionado, therefore you have a good understanding of Linux and Oracle. You are able to work independently, prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be certainly useful.
