8-13 years of experience in development or operations & deployment in IT/telecom industry. Experience in GIS or location based services in the capacity of operations, support or deployment is desirable but not mandatory
Must:
Working knowledge of Linux and/or Windows
Experience in operations or an experience in deployment and UAT
Good knowledge of SQL and Oracle/Postgres
Well versed with Linux commands
Knowledge of Apache/tomcat and http
Good understanding of queue management (ActiveMQ/Kafka), experience is not mandatory
Very good verbal and communication skills in English
Willing to work in 24x7 shifts.
Desirable:
Knowledge of ELK (elasticsearch)
Knowledge of IIS, Queue Managers
ITIL certification is an added advantage
Education:
B.E or B.Tech degree in Electronic &Telecomm or Comp. Sc from a recognized university
or
MCA and BCA
Above 60% marks in 10th, 10+2 and above 65% in UG and/or PG
Responsibilities:
Handling of user issues that are escalated by the L2 team.
Change discussions, CR preparation, execution, and testing across the environments.
Capacity management of the applications
Review of alerts and monitoring parameters regularly to mitigate any problems in advance.
Regular review of DB queries for optimization
Coordination with other teams for any requirements or actions
Escalation of any issues internally and to external teams, as required.
Automation of regular manual tasks
