THE ROLE: Engineer
Job Description
- Demonstrable experience as an application support engineer or any other related field.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, information technology, computer engineering, or anything similar.
- Must be capable of managing code migration, monitoring performance, and documenting all configuration changes.
- Enhanced knowledge of back-end and front-end programming languages. They include Java, React, Node JS, Angular, and Python.
- Hands on experience working on any one of the Public Cloud ( AWS or Azure )
- Have the ability to offer significant front-end support to all web-based clients and internal departments.
- Extensive knowledge of Advanced Encryption Standards or AES.
- Significantly advanced proficiency in determining the causes of application errors and skillfully repairing them.
- Coordinate with the design and development teams to resolve complex application and system issues
- Troubleshoot and rectify application issues
- Provide progress updates to the management and customer
- Perform root cause analysis to identify the reasons for the underlying issue
- Plan and execute strategies and configuration changes to ensure optimal quality assurance for all applications
- Monitor all alerts related to applications and provide proactive services
- Maintain positive working relationships with other team members, including engineers and customer support technicians
- Debug any issues that impact application performance
- Coordinate with the quality assurance and development team to administer code migrations across various environments
- Prepare and maintain documentation for all issues and the implemented solutions
- Recommend ways to optimize business performance by presenting solutions to existing challenges
