Do you enjoy troubleshooting technical problems and helping others Are you detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills If so, then an Application Support Analyst role might be a perfect fit for you!

In this role, you will be the frontline for resolving user issues related to Freight & Forwarding applications and software. You will diagnose problems, provide technical support, and ensure the smooth operation of critical business systems.

Responsibilities:


Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
Analyze error messages and system logs to identify root causes.
Document solutions and procedures for future reference.
Maintain and update knowledge base articles.
Provide E2E technical support.
Participate in system upgrades and installations.
Monitor application performance and identify potential problems.
Handle Problems/Changes.
Take care of application/technical patching.
On-Call support as needed.
Work in shifts if required by the application/business.
E2E ownership of tasks, continuous improvements.

Skills Required:


Operating Systems: Understanding of common operating systems Linux & Windows
Networking: Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
Troubleshooting: Techniques for identifying and resolving technical problems.
Databases: Familiarity with SQL and database management concepts.
Middleware: Knowledge of Tomcat/Apache
Scripting: Basic scripting knowledge in languages Bash can be a plus.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication to explain technical issues to users with varying levels of understanding.
Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking and ability to break down complex problems into manageable steps.
ITIL: Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices for IT service management
