Responsibilities:
Analysing business operations and the business's computer systems and determining how to improve efficiency.
Providing guidance on application consolidation
Monitoring and reporting application performance
Building application management practice
Creates and maintains standard processes, procedures, and documentation related to applications and related environments
Improving customer satisfaction
Managing database and application teams
Defining project plans and driving it throughout its lifecycle
Assures technical support problem resolution related to networks, servers, desktops, database management software, operating systems, and/or business application software systems.
Handle multiple clients.
Supervise technical/support staff; participate in hiring, evaluating, training, disciplining, and recommending discharge staff as necessary.
Prepares project proposals and is involved in presales, and performs analysis for new technologies and system enhancement.
Requirements:
4+ years of good hands-on experience in managing Business or Financial Applications (support)
4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Databases and a solid understanding of SQL DB
Ability to lead and manage teams effectively, with strong team-building and mentoring skills.
Experience in automation will be an added advantage.
Strong project management and customer handling skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Banking & Financial sector client handling experience preferred
