Application Engineer

Overview:

Application Engineer - PV and Energy Storage position plays an important role with this rapid growing company. This is a very dynamic and fast-track position. The position will be the key member of the product management team, which oversees the company's PV and Storage products and product strategies in South Asia regions. This position will also be the technical point of the contact person for commercial, industrial and utility-scale inverter/system products, and providing product/system trade-off study to support company's multi-generation product road map

Essential Duties and Responsibilitie

• Responsible for establishing system solutions of India PV & Energy Storage business
• Track market demands from key accounts, set up a channel between R&D and customers
• Support/Lead pre-marketing promotion of the new technical solutions
• Support sales team with PV system technical solutions and become a trusted technical advisor to the customer's engineering staff
• Attend industry trade shows and marketing events to support the improvement and expansion of the company's brand recognition
• Support internal technical document control and management
• Liaison and communicate with product team, providing customer feedback and any applications to meet CEA/ regional regulatory requirements
• Interpret IEC and other regulatory requirements and provide input to the company's product line
• Assist field service personnel in system level trouble shooting and provide engineering guidance as necessary

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years PV industry experiences are required, and prior working experiences in PV and/or Energy Storage system-related projects, issues and/or technologies are preferred
• Power Electronics/Power System/Control System design/validation experiences welcome are desired
• EPC project engineering, product conceptual design and system-level trade-off experiences are welcomed
