Job Description
Experience: 3 to 5 years (Min)
Education: 4 - year of engineering degree (Electrical and Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering)
Good to have NI Certification CLD or CLA
Visit and discussion directly with customers as part of the sales cycle and requirements gathering of projects.
Design and implement software (LabVIEW) using advanced object - oriented architectures.
Develop reusable software components.
Keep updated on the latest software engineering practices and tools for LabVIEW as well as other languages and platforms.
Experience with the LabVIEW programming language, development environment, and National Instruments ecosystem.
Experience with LabVIEW Real - Time and FPGA, Compact Vision System , Compact Rio , and Soft Motion modules.
Knowledge of image processing and analysis methodologies.
Good to have TestStand working knowledge.
Knowledge of Databases and SQL (MySQL , SQL Server , etc.).
Working knowledge of different communication busses (GPIB , RS - 232 , RS - 485 , USB , Ethernet , Modbus , CAN , LIN , etc.)
Experience using object oriented programming techniques (OOP).
Familiarity with source code control and issue tracking.
Ability to quickly solve problems.
Ability to understand engineering electronic circuit drawings.
Good debugging skills on both software and embedded electronics
Knowledge of text - based programming languages: C , C++ , C# , Python , JavaScript. Will be an added advantage.
