Position Overview:
The Data Platform and Analytics Services (DPaAS) team in Finance IT is looking for an Automation Engineer to provide their contribution for shared automation infrastructure for Corporate Applications and US Market Solutions. The AE Analyst will be responsible for building and maintaining common test automation framework to be used by all the applications in Finance + Ops area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in understanding automation requirements and providing technical solutions.
Required:
- QE with Python programming language experience to develop the automation framework, build Jenkin pipelines, automate tele scripts & Infrastructure.
- familiarity with Python Packages like Pandas, Numpy, xlsxwriter / Openpyxl, Pyodbc
- More Jenkins/CI experience is expected such as Freestyle / Multibranch pipeline are required.
- Solid Linux experience is also a must, as test infrastructure is mostly on Linux.
- Experience in creating Docker images and containers.
- Experience in GitHub Actions- creating workflow and agent management.
- Strong engineering skills are required for developing and operating automation framework.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand automation requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Writing scalable code using Python programming language.
- Developing and maintaining the automation framework.
- Refactoring existing code base to improve functionality.
- Troubleshoot issues based on alerts and logs.
- Administer Linux and Windows based systems.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of production systems.
- Maintain awareness of industry best practices in area of automation and evaluate their application to the data platform.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical/troubleshooting skills and willing to learn and apply new technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Demonstrable ability to deliver projects on time, with high quality, and within budget.
Required Experience & Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of training and experience
