Responsibilities:
- Designs end to end solutions encompassing positive and consistent colleague experience, alignment with team values and standards, Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) and ServiceNow best practices/scalability.
- Contributes technical expertise across the solution and collaborates with analysts, architects, and other development resources.
- Develops and implements advanced workflows, business rules, script includes, client scripts, service portal widgets, flows and other scripting solutions (i.e. Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each.
- Consistently documents code and application functionality.
- Debug, diagnose and enhance catalog items, UI scripts and widgets. Integrates data from multiple data sources where appropriate while ensuring data quality and integrity are maintained.
- Incorporates total quality into designs while using available tools to spot defects in sub-production testing and alert on defects in production environments.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Experience with ServiceNow platform (3+ years)
- Expertise in ServiceNow modules relevant to the specific role (e.g., ITSM)
- Strong understanding of web development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting languages (Glide, JavaScript)
- Experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Virtual Agent and NowMobile solutions a plus.
