Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
1.7-9 years of practical experience in Application Developer with Data modelling skills.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries and scripts to support data analysis and reporting needs.
- Design and implement data models to support business intelligence, analytics, and data science initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Utilize Azure Databricks for data processing, transformation, and advanced analytics.
- Manage and optimize data pipelines and workflows in Snowflake, ensuring efficient and reliable data integration.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Generate actionable insights from large and complex datasets, presenting findings to stakeholders through reports and visualizations.
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of data systems and solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics, SQL development, and cloud-based data platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Data Modeler, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL development, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize them for performance.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, including the use of notebooks and cluster management.
- Expertise in Snowflake, including data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other cloud platforms and big data technologies.
- Certification in Azure Databricks and/or Snowflake.
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
- Experience with machine learning and statistical analysis.
