Overall, candidate should have good experience on GCP Cloud databases and SQL Server/Oracle databases on data modeling, design, performance tuning, data archive, data migration, data access control etc.
- ,Deep understanding of Relational and NoSQL databases. Database fundamentals, including data storage, data modeling, and data access patterns etc.
- ,Hands on experiences in MSSQL/Oracle database design (Tables, Views, Functions, SP's etc..,) and support
- .Managing logins and database users, as well as database roles, application roles, and other security principals within database
- .Monitoring, Tuning, and Troubleshooting the database related issues. Also automate the regular database tasks as necessary
- .Good understand of indexes and its types, as well when to create, how to manage it and when to remove it
- .Manage and Secure the sensitive data as part of HIPAA or other compliance measure as needed
- .Design the data archive strategy and auto the data archive mechanism
- .Experience in managing and optimizing databases Database products like Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner & Cloud Bigtabl
- eMigrate MSSQL/Oracle database to GCP Cloud SQL or AlloyDB/Spanner Database. Good understanding of database migration from one technology to another
- .Database features and limitation in GCP
