Job Summary
As an Appian Lead Developer, you will leverage your deep expertise in Appian to lead, build, test, and deliver intelligent automation solutions. Working in collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will drive development and deployment processes, supporting business solutions aligned with client needs. This role demands strong technical skills in Appian architecture, agile methodologies, and continuous improvement practices to achieve optimal performance and user satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Appian, providing technical leadership and team management.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams in the software development process and apply agile methodologies.
- Design and develop Appian solutions using objects such as Records, Tasks, Reports, Actions, Integrations, and more.
- Lead end-to-end Appian BPM implementations, including design, development, deployment, and packaging.
- Optimize infrastructure architecture, handling Appian's in-memory KDB engines, topology, scaling, and custom properties.
- Integrate with web services (SOAP and REST) and ESBs like MuleSoft, ensuring seamless connections with external systems.
- Develop Appian plugins (Smart Services, Functions, Connected Systems, Component UI).
- Apply J2EE design patterns for custom development, supporting both embedded SAIL and portals.
- Support and manage CICD pipelines using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and GitHub.
Requirements And Qualifications- Technical Skills:
- Must-have: Expert in Appian platform with hands-on experience in system architecture and Appian objects.
- Proficient in App Servers (JBOSS, TOMCAT) and Web Servers (Apache).
- Skilled in integrating external systems via Web Services (SOAP, REST) and MuleSoft.
- Experience in CICD technologies, including Ansible, Jenkins, and GitHub.
- Preferred: Knowledge of J2EE design patterns, especially JSP, Servlets, and JDBC.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Leadership skills to guide and mentor team members effectively.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Certifications:
- Appian Lead Developer Certification is mandatory.
- Education:
