Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing enterprise-level applications in Appian.
- Design, build, test, and deploy Appian applications using Appian's low-code development platform
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define application functionality
- Develop high-quality, reusable Appian components, including interfaces, processes, and data models
- Integrate Appian applications with external systems using web services, APIs, and Appian's integration features
- Troubleshoot and debug Appian application issues using Appian's debugging tools and logs
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to Appian development best practices
- Stay up-to-date with new Appian features and updates, and apply this knowledge to improve application development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, project managers, and other developers
- Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Appian.
- Appian Level 2 or Level 3 certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of Appian architecture and best practices.
- Proficiency in Appian SAIL, Process Models, Rules, Expressions, and Integrations.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and web services (SOAP, RESTful).
- Strong understanding of Appian's low-code development platform, including Appian's data model, process model, and interface design
- Experience with Appian's integration features, including web services, APIs, and Connectors
- Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with other BPM tools or low-code platforms.
- Experience integrating Appian with other enterprise systems.
