Job Description

As a Associate Product Manager - 2 [APM - 2], you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our product offerings across various platforms, including web, app and internal applications. You will be responsible for creating detailed product requirement documents, managing the product lifecycle and driving the product roadmap based on data-driven decisions.

Roles and responsibilities

Product strategy

  • Develop and communicate the product strategy aligned with the company and the business goals

  • Conduct market research and the competitor analysis to identify opportunities, and create innovative product features for differentiation

  • Build and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on strategic goals, user feedback and market demand.

  • Analyze data and metrics to make informed decisions, improve product features, and drive growth.

Product development

  • Own the product end to end - from conceptualization to launch of the product.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, design and business teams to create the detailed product requirement documents (PRDs), wireframes, prototypes, and user stories.

  • Conduct thorough user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure product quality and reliability.

  • Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and effectiveness.

Customer focus

  • Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, advocating for user-centric design and functionality

  • Engage with customers to gather feedback and insights, ensuring their needs are met through our product offerings.

  • Conduct usability study for product concept validation.

Collaboration & communication

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, and Marketing, to ensure timely product delivery.

  • Present product updates and progress to stakeholders, including business teams and leadership.

  • Provide training and support to internal teams on new product features and functionalities.

Experience and qualifications

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in business, engineering, product design, or related field. MBA would be a plus.

  • 1-4 years experience in product management in a technology-driven organization building consumer facing products.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and methods to make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and influence cross-functional teams.

  • Solid understanding of web, app, and internal application development processes.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high level of autonomy and accountability.

  • Prior experience in handling growth initiatives and improving customer experience is a plus.
