Job Description: API Load Testing Intern
Position: Intern
Location: On-site
Duration: 3 months unpaid, with the potential to transition to a full-time role.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct API load and performance testing to ensure reliability and efficiency under various conditions.
- Analyze test results and identify bottlenecks, potential errors, and performance optimization areas.
- Collaborate with the development and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
- Document test processes, results, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Support automation efforts for repetitive testing tasks using appropriate tools.
Required Skills:
Primary Skill:
- Proficiency in API Load Testing using tools like Postman, JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools.
Secondary Skill:
- Basic knowledge of automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of HTTP methods, headers, and status codes.
- Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Internship Details:
- Unpaid Period: The first 3 months will focus on skills development and evaluating performance.
- Performance Evaluation: Interns who perform well may transition to a full-time role.
- Post-Internship Terms: Full-time employees will submit their certificates and sign a 2-year bond starting from the joining date.
