Role Summary: Lead and execute API testing activities, including automation, for the Order Management System (OMS).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans and test cases for API testing, focusing on functional, performance, and security aspects.
Design and implement automated API test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
Collaborate with developers and architects to understand API specifications and design effective test scenarios.
Analyze API responses and identify defects.
Integrate API testing into the overall testing lifecycle.
Mentor and guide junior QA team members in API testing techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
6-8 years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong focus on API testing.
Expertise in API testing tools and frameworks.
Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API documentation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
